Home Learning

If your child needs to access work from home, they can do so in a number of ways.

Work can be set on Microsoft Teams, by email, or through an educational online platform. Homework can be set this way too.

Accessing Home Learning through Microsoft Teams

The following video provides a step-by-step guide of how to access Microsoft Teams.

Accessing Home Learning via Email

Students should log on to their school emails through Microsoft365 (www.office.com), using their school log on.

If you have any problems logging on, you can send an email to it-support@alderchs.uk  and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Accessing Microsoft Teams and Email using an X Box or a PlayStation

It is possible to access Microsoft365, Microsoft Teams and email through a gaming device such as an X-Box or a PlayStation, as long as it has an internet connection. The following video, which was produced by another high school (thank you to Pontypridd High School), shows how you can do this. You can also connect a keyboard and a mouse to make it easier to navigate through this and complete home learning tasks online.
