On Thursday 2nd July, Year 10 pupils will attend the Ashton Sixth Form College Taster Day  

📍 Ashton Sixth Form College, Darnton Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 9RL 

Key Information: 

  • Students will be required to wear school uniform on the day. 
  • Students who have chosen Football coaching will need to bring a PE Kit as this will be a physical session, but must change back to uniform after the session. 
  • Students who have chosen Dance should be aware that they will be barefoot throughout the session.  
  • Students will participate in 4 x 45 min taster lessons.  
  • Students will be allocated a 35 min lunch. We recommend that students bring their own lunch on the day due to the short lunch break. Food outlets will also be open on our college site at a cost to the student. 
  • Students will not be allowed off site during the taster day. 
  • Arrive from 9:30am for registration. 
  • Bring a packed lunch or money for the college canteen. 
  • Students must arrange their own travel to and from the college. 
  • The day will be fully supervised by Alder and college staff.
