As we reach the end of the week, just a reminder that we finish today for the half term break and school reopens at the normal time of 8:20am on Monday 27th February.

Industrial action in schools on Tuesday 28th February
You will be aware that I had to take the difficult decision to close school to students earlier this month due to industrial action by teachers in the National Education Union. The strike action is because of a national dispute between the unions and the government and not because of any issues at our school.
The next national teachers’ strike action day is Tuesday, 28th February. Once again school will be open to vulnerable students and parents/carers will be contacted separately about this. It is hoped that we can accommodate year 11 this time but I will confirm arrangements on Monday, 27th February, the day we return after the half term holiday.
