Some of our fabulous Year 8s supported The HUB in Hattersley at their annual Christmas party this week as part of their Key Skills project work.

The students worked hard all afternoon as they served a two course lunch to over 50 members of the community. They helped to serve drinks, cleared away, entertained, danced with and chatted to the people there. They certainly left lots of people with smiles on their faces saying only positive things to say about our school and the students.

Mrs Vella, Learning Mentor said: "I can honestly say that today has been one of my highlights working here, as seeing these young people slowly step out of their comfort zone to such an extent was just a delight to see and brought tears to my eyes."
