As we strive to improve our home school relationship and communication, we would like to invite all parents and carers to join the Alder Community High School Parent Voice.
Being part of Parent Voice gives you the opportunity as a parent or carer to give feedback, make comments and suggestions on important issues around school. It also gives you an informal way of raising general issues that we need to address.
We are aware that it is not always convenient for parents and carers to come to after school and evening meetings so we are taking a fresh approach to liaising with you. Parent Voice will be a predominantly ‘virtual’ group. You can be involved as little or as much as you wish. We will contact you via e mail, text message or through social media. Occasionally we may invite you into school for a more structured Parent Voice meeting or presentation.
How can I become part of Parent Voice?
Just let us know that you want to be involved including your name and the name and year group of your child.
You can contact us in one of the following ways:
- Email email@example.com
- Telephone the school on 0161 368 5132
- Text the school number: 07624 808667
- Private message our Facebook page www.facebook.com/aldercommunityhigh
If at any point you decide that you to longer wish to be involved, just let us know and we will remove you from the list.
Please note that if you have an issue that relates directly to your child’s wellbeing or education you should raise this through the usual channels of:
- Form tutor;
- Subject class teacher or curriculum leader;
- Progress and pastoral leaders.
